The Skirt With Spots
Hi Prepsters,
I've been going through my closet, and trying to reorganize and purge out old clothes. I recently just found this skirt, and I realized I had shot it for you guys a few months ago, so I thought I would share this great back to work look.
The skirt is from Addition Elle, and the Navy blue colour with the white polka dots is fun, but also a classic piece that won't go out of style. The material has a little bit of stretch, and is extremely comfortable to wear, even with a zip on the back.
I paired the fun printed skirt, with a more plain white top from Reitmans. This one is made of chiffon, and has silver button details along the top, and on the sleeves. If you wanted to dress this up, you could also wear a more classic button down, or a solid poplin shirt. The top I was wearing has sold out, however they do have a few different versions of a classic button down.
A great tip to making your legs look long, and lean, is to wear pointed toe, nude heels. These are the classic Jimmy Choo - Romy 85 Leather Pumps in the colour nude, and have been one of my favourites for many years.
For my makeup, I did a fun cranberry smokey eye look.
