Toronto Men's Fashion FW18 Outfit

Hi Prepsters,

As you may or may not have known, my brother and I were chosen to be VIP influencers for Toronto Men's and Toronto Women's Fashion Week. It is such a huge honour, because a lot of the time plus sized influencers are skipped over when it comes to fashion, so we were proud to represent you all. We love you guys, and just wanted to thank you all for your support.

I only ended up going to one day out of the three for Toronto Men's Fashion Week, but I wanted to wear something loud, and bright. So naturally, I found the greenest, most sequenced sweater, and I created look with it.

Along with the sweater, I wore a pair of lighter blue skinny jeans that I had purchased from Reitmans (I honestly love the fit of all the pants there). I also cuffed the jeans with a singular fold to show off my velvet blue booties. Cuffed jeans are huge in fashion right now, they give a very structured and sophisticated look to all denim, and I highly recommend you trying it out.

I wanted to match my shoes and my bag together to add a little bit of cohesiveness. In person its easier to see the dark blue stripe in the sweater, but with the bag and shoe, it complimented it well. The velvet added a nice texture to the outfit too.

Since my outfit it so out there, I kept my hand jewellery toned down. The bracelet I wore is very minimalistic. The gold tone brings out the gold chain of the bag, and I love its simplicity. The light blue earrings work well with the colour of the jeans. 

Makeup

Finding a balance between statement pieces along with the rest of your look is important so I kept my makeup relatively neutral. During Fashion Week I always wear lashes, they make your face and makeup look complete, and add just the tiniest amount of drama.

Highlighter: Tom Ford - Illuminating Highlight Pen (Amber Eclat)

Lip Colour: NYX - Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick (Soft Spoken)

Eyeshadows: Tarte - Tartiest Pro Amazonian Clay Palette (Punk on the lids, Edgy in the crease, Trendy layered on the lid, glam on the inner corners)
