Festival Inspired Outfit

Coachella has recently ended, but festival fashion season is still in full swing. For Canadians, Osheaga, which will be taking place in Montreal, is only a few months away and its left many people wondering what they should wear.

The biggest recurring fashion trends for festival season tend to be clothing with either fringe, beads, embroidery, or lace. You can also do no wrong by showing up in flare or distressed jeans, mesh, kimonos, and of course a choker.

The top(similar style) I selected from Addition Elle is cropped and fully made of lace; I paired it with a black cami, but you could always wear a strapless bra, or bralette underneath. The lace top I extremely versatile and would be great with many different looks; you could dress it up with a flare skirt like Gabi from Gabi Fresh has done, or pair it with a pair of distressed white jeans for an easy summer look.

The bottoms are a pair of chiffon flare pants (they have a skort look to them with the two flaps at the front). The army green colour is big, and was featured throughout Toronto Fashion Week and will most likely be around all year. The flare pants are a staple at all music festivals and the fact they are high waisted also add length to your legs, and can proportion girls with bigger hips and thighs.

For my accessories I chose a lace choker, which is currently a huge trend. A coil bracelet from Reitmans, which was initially supposed to be worn gathered by the wrist, however, I liked the look of it crawling up my arm. I also wore multiple infinity rings to add a little sparkle to my hands.

For my makeup I decided to keep the look close to neutral. I did a warm brown eye, a golden toned highlight all over my face, and a nude lip, to keep the look minimal. Here’s a breakdown of the products I used:
