The Best New Years Parties in Toronto

Hi Prepsters,

With 2018 only a week and a half away, I created a list of the top five things you can do to celebrate the new year while staying in the city of Toronto.

Dinner and Drinks

One of the best places you can go for New Years Ever is Northern Maverick Brewing Co. The 11 000 sq ft. facility also contains a brewery, and enough space for 400 people! For $65 +HST you can start your night with a four course dinner, have a glass of champagne at midnight, and listen to the hottest music by DJ Franky J. There will also be fire flare bartending show, and most importantly, no cover to get in after 10pm. (It's where I will be during NYE)

Music, Iceskating, and Fireworks

If you're looking for a fun time with your family and friends, and not looking to spend a lot of money, Nathan Phillip Square is one of the best New Years Eve options. There will be an iceskating rink (skate rental will be closed), a free public concert starting at 8pm, and the best fireworks the city has to offer.

Dancing

Rebell Nightclub will be hosting one of the busiest and intense parties of the night. Door will open at 10:00 pm and tickets will be starting at $60 +HST. Its the place you want to be if you love to dance, and enjoy the clubbing scene.

Cruise

If you're wanting an extravahamt event, the Jubilee Queen Cruise promises to be a stylish, and elegant affair onboard a yacht overlooking the Toronto skyline. Tickets are $124.95, and include cocktails, hors D'oeuvres, a buffet dinner, party favours, and a champagne toast at midnight, making it a pretty good deal. The cruise will also have a DJ for the entire trip, and you will have chances to win prizes during the 4.5 hour adventure.

The Aquarium

Ripley's Aquarium of Canada will be hosting its first New Years Eve Party ever.  The event will have hors d'oeuvres by Daniel et Daniel, music by DJ Shamz, full bars located throughout the galleries. The ticket is $90 +HST and includes general admission, one drink token, appetizers, and a photo and the Ripley's Photo Port.

GO busses, trains, and the tic will be free after 7pm, so make sure you don't drink and drive.
