The Perfect Holiday Dress

Christmas is one week away, and I know many of you are out trying to find the perfect dress for all of your holiday parties. One of the biggest trends for this winter season has been velvet, so keeping that in mind, I decided I would show you this gorgeous wrap dress by Joe Fresh and how you can style it!

The Dress

This stunning velvet dress has a wrap tie front, and has long sleeves. The material is stretchy and comfortable, making it perfect for a long night. I find this dress also covers enough to make it appropriate for any work function. Another thing I appreciate about Joe Fresh’s plus size section is how consistent the sizing tends to be. For everything I have bought from them, the size 1X is perfect on (even with items made of different materials).

I also paired the dress with these opaque tights from Silks (available at the Bay - Size 2+). I find opaque tights look great all fall and winter long, and provide a little bit of warmth.

The Accessories

The earrings that I am wearing are from Reitmans (sold out), however, I found these gorgeous ones at Baublebar that would look great on too. (click here). The beaded clutch was a from a small boutique in Australia, but I found a similar one from Nordstrom Rack (click here). The rest of the rings, and bracelets are also gold toned.
