Toronto Men's Fashion Week Day 3

The third and final day for Toronto Men's Fashion Week (TOM*FW) was filled with lots of brilliant designers. There were so many standouts for the day that it was hard for me to choose just one, but I think my favourite designer for the night, and probably for all of TOM*FW was Kenneth Barlis. The entire collection was vibrant, beautifully tailored, and brought excitement and drama without the theatrics that many other shows relied on.

A month prior to fashion week, I had walked into Forever 21+ and instantly fallen in love with this beautiful faux leather jacket with embroidered roses, and silver studs. It encompassed many current trends into one stylish piece.

I paired it with a black blouse from Addition Elle (which had some very beautiful hidden sleeved details) to dress up the look, however for an everyday outfit, I would pair it with a white v-neck cotton shirt.

These are my favourite distressed boyfriend jeans from American Eagle. I love how they fit snuggly around my thighs, and how they look cuffed. The jeans add just a little bit of edge, and have the perfect amount of rips through them.

As a lover of all shoes, I had a special moment when I saw these Aldo heels at DSW. I knew I had to have them, and they have quickly become my favourite and most asked about shoe. The red is a nice neon colour that added a contrast to the outfit, while accentuating the red floral embroidery from the jacket. The tie up laces, although tricky at first, looked amazing, and kept my foot securely in the shoe throughout the night. The ones I wore have sold out online, but I could have also worn these.

For my jewellery, I wore most of my pieces from Reitmans. The pink and opal earrings were fun and feminine, and the neck cuff added a little metal glam to the otherwise (deceptively) plain blouse.
