The Skincare Products You Need This Winter
Hi Prepsters,
With the colder weather approaching, my skin tends to get dryer, more sensitive, and loses its brightness. To combat this, I normally switch over to face oils, which tend to lock in moisture into my skin for longer periods of time. Keep in mind, face oils, and most moisturizers offer no protection from the suns rays, and you should always use sunscreen. Here is a list of my favourite face oils, that are great for sensitive skin, and at four different price points.
$
Palmers Face Oil ($9.97 CAD)
Pros: Contains powerful pure oils enriched with essential vitamins and nutrients. Softens, smooths and plumps skin. Helps visibly rejuvenate & tone skin Rich moisturizer softens and evens skin tone.
Cons: Not a product that goes well under some foundations, and may cause them to break apart on the skin.

Origins Dr. Andrew Weil for Origins Mega Defense Barrier Boosting Essence Oil ($64 CAD)
Pros: Formulated with vitamin C, evening primrose, lady’s thistle seed oils, and camellia, which helps boost skin’s barrier against environmental damage, and aging skin. Skin looks brighter, and feels comfortably smooth and hydrated.
Cons: The Scent can be a bit much, especially because its on your face.
$$$
L'Occitane: Immortelle Divine Youth Oil ($114 CAD)
Pros: This is one of my personal favourite products, and it really softens your skin. It fights visible signs of aging for a skin texture that appears replenished.
Cons: It is a product that is supposed to be used at night (right before you sleep), and I like using face oils during the day too. It is also heavily scented.
$$$$
JB Skin Guru: L'extrait ($225 CAD)
Pros: It contains peony extract, green tea leaves, licorice root, Rosa rubiginosa and Kakadu plums to protect the skin and fight wrinkles. It is also a great product in helping even your skin tone, and It can be used during the day. L'extrait has much lighter scent than most of the products on this list, and requires only one drop, as it is so concentrated.
Cons: There are literally no cons to this product, I highly recommend it.
